The Project on Nuclear Issues (PONI) will host its 2023 Summer Conference at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory on July 26 and 27. PONI is now soliciting applications for the conference. Public registration for attendees is forthcoming.

The conference will provide an opportunity for rising experts in the nuclear field to share their research with mid-career and senior stakeholders at one of the nation’s preeminent nuclear laboratories. PONI seeks presentation proposals from emerging nuclear experts on topics related to arms control and non-proliferation, including:

• The future of arms control 

• The Non-Proliferation Treaty and paths ahead  

• Allies and proliferation 

PONI will equally consider presentation proposals on other arms control and non-proliferation-related subjects.
