Core Commitment
We strive to diversify our boards of directors and advisory committees to include Black people and people of color. This is accomplished by improving leadership diversity among the partners in the OrgsinSolidarity Movement starting with retaining BIPOC members already in place.
Through our current and ongoing projects, we actively work to improve opportunities for BIPOC international peace and security practitioners to serve on boards and advisory committees of non-profit organizations.

Purpose: This publication aims to create guidelines that reflect some of the best practices that organizations can adopt to diversify boards.
Key content: This publication examines challenges and opportunities organizations face in diversifying their boards and lays down concrete principles that organizations can incorporate and offers direction that board members can follow to ensure a diverse board.
