Core Commitment

Develop meaningful diversity, inclusion, and equity strategies for Black people and people of color, and our efforts on gender diversity will include women of color. By utilizing the working group as a forum to compare experiences and key considerations from DEI efforts in our respective organizations, we account for differences in organizational sizes and stages of DEI efforts. We work to educate the group on what peace and security funders, and other external stakeholders, are doing on DEI in supporting and holding accountable their grantees

Our working is bringing our commitments life through the creation of an interactive questionnaire tool organizations could use to individually assess their organizations and how they can practice meaningful DEI. How organizations could improve their approaches towards DEI that has impacts rather than DEI that does not do anything.
