Core Commitment
Develop a safe workplace where Black people and people of color can share their concerns on issues of racism and racial discrimination. We do this by helping organizations and the individuals that work for them address structural and institutional racism in our organizations and to recognize the ways in which our organizations prevent people of color (POC) employees from thriving. By assisting in the creation of authentic and genuine workplaces that embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion, we help organizations do the important work of building workplaces that nurture and support BIPOC employees.

OiS Community Ombuds Program
Our working group launched the pilot ombuds program in early 2023. The concept of this project is to provide Ombuds services as a resource for employees to address issues/challenges they are facing at work. Interested in participating or learning more?
